I need a pole to go at least 50ft!
« on: August 06, 2007, 09:05:25 pm »
I would like a fishing pole but a telescopic would suit me better because of access issues.

I really dont want to spend more than £700 if I can help it.

I want a good, strong, stiff and light carbon telescopic pole.

Can anyone recommend one?

If you can stretch that little bit further go for a facelift pole

I have the 18ft facelift glass fibre and thats a tad on the heavy side sometimes. I know the bigger carbon facelifts will be a bit lighter but by how much?

Could be? ;D

One of the hotels I have to quote is high in places.

But I want to be armed and ready with a big pole so I can quote with confidence and start immediately. ;)

I'm a facelift user as you know (44ft carbon) & praise them all the time but to be honest at 50ft+ i personaly wouldn't want to use one. at that height i think you are seriously looking at modular fishing poles.
My limit for the carbon facelift is 44ft.
