IBC tanks

just wondering guys. If I buy an ibc tank does it have to be new or could I use one that has been used for oil? Just asking as there is a few in the local free paper going for £20

Oil would be ok as long as you give it a VERY GOOD wash out.
Some are used for holding soap or juice's.
I got mine from a friend who is a farmer and it had some horrible stinky chemical in it and it doesn't effect my water! Always 000ppm

Brill! I was expecting an ibc to cost £160. Seen as I have more spare time than spare cash I think going for would be sensible. Then I could get a 300 gpd ro rather than 100gpd

yer m8 mine had milk or somthink like that init, they have a outlet on the bottom so just blast away with a hose. the hardest part is moving the bloody thing. I had to throw mine over my 6ft fence in to my back because it wouldnt go through the gate, a complete pain for me and my 2 lads lol.

Try e-bay, local papers, the loot. Anything along them lines or even pop down to your local industrial estate
