Yes,

its certainly something i will look out for.... and even test out...

it could even be that on every window ... when its windy...

In fact , how many times have we arrived home on a windy day... filthy, compared to other days, whilst taking a shower?..

or even just clothes, ..or being a little crude... ears , nose etc..

def worth some care.

Gary.

At least everyone is being honest about the quality of wfp cleaning on this thread, perhaps I won't get slagged off this time for saying that this is the exact reason that I trad most downstairs windows!! ;D

i always soak brush overnight in pure.. its a good habit of mine..

It's a waste of time soaking a brush in pure water as if the brush is dirty the water wont be pure anymore so it becomes pointless!!

Some windows just dont come up but it's few and far between. It is mostly down to techinque, keep cleaning and it will become less spotty each time. the weather can have a lot to do with it.

Cleaned my girlfriends granny's windows today.

They are 4 months old and are upvc and they all bead.

I have cleaned them about 12 times and every time guaranteed I get 2 lines of spots on the living room window.

So annoying!!!!!! >:(

Why on earth is this? The rest bead and all turn out spotless!
Beacuse she opens the window afterwards and the dirt runs out from inside the mechanism.

It can't be avoided, and it happens every time.
If they open the window shortly after... you've had it. >:(
