You may well be right Clive,

I was just toying with the idea, there was a thread some time back with the back windows done with a before and after picture of the guttering, so may well use an idea like that.

I have plenty of time to ponder over the idea, I haven't even got a van yet ;D

That's the best way of doing it.
When I was using a ladder on a tall window I always out my foot on the sill.

It was be crazy not to.
It stops you overbalancing.
If you leaned over with both feet on the ladder it would topple over. ::)

I have also done it, but I always had my ladder wedged in the corner to stop it slipping sideways,
it also looks like she has done the same with the top of the A frame,
