(Does anyone want this pole??)
« on: July 19, 2007, 09:44:00 pm »
Hi Guy's & Gals

Just need a little input from the pro's.

If I told you I had invented and built a protor type pole that does not have and does not need a hose or tubing? it has a built in flow control and has the facilities for a portable water function,

Now if you have difficult access restrictions, were you have trouble getting your hose or even a backpack to the rear of a property, then this pole is the answer, if you have to go through customers homes with hoses or backpacks along with your poles, then again this pole is the answer, you can work on these propertys with ease with no trailing hoses at your feet, but pure water is still being pumped upto the windows?

Its in its early stages at the moment, and I have made a video of the pole in action, but I am unable to show it at the moment.

I have shown only one other member who has signed an agreement not to mention anything he has seen on the video.

I have put the pole through its paces on several occations and I must admit my self, it is very good at doing a professional Job.
It does feel strange at first going through a house with only a pole and no hose and doing the windows at the back of the house to a high standard that we and the customers are used to.

I don't want spend shed loads of money on a product that wont be wanted, if you guy's think it will be worth my effort in the continuation of a hoseless pole, tell me guy's what do you think to the idea???

I know what Joe. You post a confidentilaity agreement that we all post our names underneath so that we are bound by it, and then you post a link to the video.

You description sounds great. No hose etc.

Whatever your basic idea it sounds like it has mileage. It's possible that you will need the big boys to develop it though.

the telescopic pole works, like any  wfp, except it has no tubing, the flow control switch  can be fitted permanently any where on the pole, the only hose that connects to the pole is from the pump end, meaning no excess tubing lying around your feet or flapping outside hoses ect, an additional  function that comes with the pole can be connected or disconected at will,  this allows you to use water anywhere, without restrictions, also it has an automatic refill funtion, sorry alex i should have said who would want to buy this pole,

I have seen the video and it is not a wind up, I was very impressed with what I seen on the video, and I can understand why Joe can't show it yet, its still in its protor type stage, the discription he gives is accurate, I seen no hoses, or no pipes, but I could see the water jetting out and I had a full view of the pole and the job he was doing.

I already have my name down for one.  ;)

Is the pole similar to a 'Unger's Carbon Tec' Pole as that is similar to what you're describing with a built in flow control and no hoses runing external of the pole or trailing by your feet?

The only way I can see it working is if the base section had VERY small water tank, battery and pump built in? :-[

If that was the case I would imagine it could be quite heavy and only capable of cleaning a couple of window rather than a whole house?

Could be wrong though!

Anyway, well done joe. Nice to see people inventing and building things!

Cant wait to see it.
