Does anyone know how to solve the algae problem in my water tank without
messing up my final bead filter ???
Also what is the recomended (PPM) before the water goes to my tank as ive started leaving spots on the windows and was wondering if that has anything to do with th algae ?

block out any sunlight to the tank (black plastic should do the job).

Di the water before it goes into the tank.

Clean the tank out before you do this.

Dont know if it just me but I have thought before that maybe the algae problem only occures for those people that store water above 000tds in their tanks , as I only store 100% pure and have never had any growth in my tank (remembering that nothing can grow in pure water)

Thanks to both of the above posts I have now ordered a small 250ml DI cannister to sit on my RO.  I will probably have to refil it once a week I guess but using my 18" DI at low pressure from a water butt to fill my barrels was beginning to brass me off anyway.

I had a 250ml di it drove me mad changing resin so quick , so I got a 750ml di thats better even though i'm now thinking of adding another to it to give me 1500ml

Well if the 18" di was begining to brass him off i'm sure a 25lt will too (going round in circles here really arent we?)
