main problem with WFP is brush/jets

not really the kind of pole, microborehose on off valve etc
its the end result-----what its like after its been rinsed
there is a type of glass that is frustrating us all
the one that sheets is a pleasure to do
the one that sheets and beads can be done
the one that beads 90 percent is sthing we walk away from
with doubt in the mind especially after checking and finding spots
and how can we say wfp does a much better job?
most times it does
i think the answer is the jets i magine8-10 jets in brush
a much finer diameter than the usual but not as fine as a plant leaf sprayer
the reason i rinse brushonglass is so as to completely cover glass with as much of a film of water as possible
brush off glass rinsing will definately bead........how do these guys get away with it?

Brush OFF Glass and a good rince.
Works on ALL glass for me.
I use the "Tesco" DIY Brushes and they tend to hold a bit of dirt so rincing On glass is a no no.
I use a Backpack and run on setting 2. I use a flow valve on my poles and reduce the flow to brush then open the flow fully to rince.
Only time I get a problem is when I have MISSED A BIT

Made an 8 jet some years ago but reverted back to 6 then 4 jets. I think it was something to do with the water falling out when the brush was angled either left or right and starving the upper "jets" even if you increased the pressure. Its also complicated to make.

jeffB,
you mentioned in an earlier post there was a beading glass that leaves residue spots what about that one?
thereis a type of mirrored glass i wouldnt dare doing wfp
hell, its so shiny you cant clean it nevermind rinsing it
the point about many fine spray jets at high pressure is to cover the glass with water whether it wants to or not
i cant believe other wfp'ers have no problems with the end result it might be that the customers are resigned to having
3-5 per cent of their glass having spots and that might have to be the price they pay to keep a reliable regular wcleaner

No, I think what he is saying is that beading does not cause spotting.
You should remember I am new to WFP so my post might be wrong, but the way I see it, If the water is truely pure and the windows are clean where are the spots going to come from?
Beading glass is more prone to spots, but it isn't what causes it. Bad rinsing, dirty frames, back splashes and unpure water are the causes I think.

I think the problem with badly beading glass is that all the dirt doesn't rinse away.
When you scrub the glass, you dislodge the dirt. Some of that dirt can get held up by the surface tension of the beads. Turn up the flow rate when rinsing, and hope for the best. Dai
