Will WFP systems eventually replace the traditional method of applicator and squeegee work? What do you fellas ( and maybe lasses
) think?

I`ve got a wfp system and according to all reports I keep reading about , the use of ladders will be soon against all health and safety regs.
However , I cant see the day when all window cleaners will be using wfps. lets face , sometimes they are a pain to get to some houses and sometimes I actually enjoy getting the ladders out and using blades.
something weirdly rewarding about watching a soup covered window gradually getting cleaner.
that said , the wfp has certainly helped me in my business and its best thing available to us wc`s.
Who is going to impose ban on ladders for wc`s ?
Will there be special Window Wardens driving around confiscating ladders ; taking them to the ladder srcap yard and ..sorry , too far .

There will always be a need for traditional methods, insides for one.
Ladder work may well become a thing of the past at some point in the future, and it is certainly heading that way with commercial work.
Domestic work isn't much affected as yet, but it will slowly affect all who work off ladders, and not just us window cleaners.
Maybe I should have stuck with scaffolding all those years ago
You almost need scaffolding to change a light bulb now

;)The wfps is future window cleaning, but will never replace the squee gee,it simply cant
try taking a pole inside any where ::)the wfps is another great move forward
in to making the window cleaner as pro like as you can get,and lets face it ,if you can aford to buy these, you are a serious window cleaner, ;)and joining a list of wfps
top boys ;)the choice of wfps is yours,I would never knock any of the systems they all work well, the choice is yours

I always WFP and have done since day one, but i dont think the squeegee will die, i still use it now for the odd job here and there. But Wfp is the way forward.

there's a window cleaner round my way who (in his words) says us young uns (ha i'm 42) are all modernised up with our fancy cars( mines a battered old orion) he still rides around on his bike with ladders attached to cart on side, could you imagine him riding around with a wfp system attached to his bike
, ha! he'd not get out of his own drive.

Bikes ! what a brilliant idea ! maybe add a wheel and use a trike ! Or a rickshaw totally mobile, no parking tickets. Maybe have hollow wheels to hold the RO/DI water, or how about a trailer.
Only joking !
but.. how about powered golf 4wd carts :
