Sorry!

Lisa did the software not come with a helpline number of Technical Support where you could call for help?

Search the software on the net and see what it comes up with.

Good luck

Lisa

It appears you can't change the payment frequency once the YTD has been updated, something I didn't know about either !! :-[

Anyway they are really helpful and will point you in the right direction. Let us know what they say as I'd like to know too.

Helpline number is 020 8922 3402.

hiya
i emailed them and they said you have to roll back to the employee all the way back to the start of the tax year, make sure you have full copies of the data you are deleting obviously, and change it from then when you have to enter the data again.

ive got 12 weeks worth of data to roll back for one employee who we didnt want to put on as weekly, but she was desperate for weekly after just coming off benefits and wouldnt work with us unless we did it this way, and now she is fine with fortnightly, even though everyone else gets paid monthly and they are happy with that, some people eh!

anyway thank you for your replies, hope this helps someone else aswell.

That's a real pain having to rollback all that way !! Never said it was perfect !!

I keep my staff on a weekly wage as I find it easier to manage. Any mistakes (I've made a few) can be rectified the following week rather than having to wait another possible 3 weeks !!

How do you get on with Payroo in general Lisa ?

its fine, very easy to use, i do keep timesheets etc and then enter the details when its to payday cut off, so easy to roll back if needed, the lady who is fortnightly paid does the domestics and the monthly girls do commercial, just find its easier like that with the way the different clients pay. although a bit of it is i dont get time once a week to keep up with the payroll sometimes and people get paid late, which is never good.

anyway, on the whole its a great help, helps me keep tracj of things better,
