Yea glass looks good from a distance but get up close and then you will see, and I agree high windows should be cleaned with WFP for saftey reasons as I do but trad ( and if you know how to trad ) gives better results.
There has always been a them and us on forums regarding trad and wfp but i find the guys who dismiss trad are the ones who are soley wfp, they want to protect their investment.
and i dont dismiss it at all...i trad most days, but insides only, as in MY opinion, wfp DOES do a better job. its not easy to use, so now your the one dismissing wfp saying theres no skill involved.
and water on a stick that i just rub up and down, love to see your windows when they dry! its not that simple at all! it DOES take skill. i wish i could just rub up and down a few times. it doesnt take 2 - 3 cleans if you use it well. hoses are never a problem as long as you hae signs out, if there is a problem, get a trolley or backpack. clean the vents out and then they wont run. so no you couldnt go on forever as i will stump ya
and yes its only a tool, one which i prefer to use as its better.
at the end of the day...we're all as bad as each other to be honest arent we! i prefer wfp so im gonna say to everyone they should use it, and other people are trad, and theyll reccomend that, but to be fair i never say dont trad or slag it off, but i could, for example, we did a school a few months ago, the downs got traded and up wfp'd, the downs look horrendous now and the wfp are still shining. get round that one?? wfp is quicker but its not easy!
its own personal preference at the end of the day isnt it
