New alltec portys!
« on: June 21, 2007, 11:18:00 pm »
Had a brochure from alltec today with some high power portys in. I havent seen or heard of them before so as far as I know they're new out.

3 models in range including 200, 500 & 1200psi top end machine!

About time alltec jumped on the high performance porty bandwagon. Nice looking machines with decent specs to boot! Reasonable prices too.

£3700-Did i read that right? For a portable then surely a PROWLER makes for a better deal? Dont get me wrong i'm not against portables But for that sort of outlay I would look at other options?

I think the Prowler is probably a better machine but at  just over £7000 inc vat  thats nearly twice the price of that Altec porty!!!!

another import have seen these on a web page for a lot less, I'll bet that you can phone the USA and they fit it out to UK standards and ship it to you and it will be cheaper.

remember that new machine don't always get the backup that you would expect. take the eclipse not on sale in the UK any more. can you trust the importer?

These have been out for about a year now (by Alltec), and noticeably the 1200psi is meant only for tile and grout. So a 500psi for that money is a bit expensive. If they were cheaper I would have possibly considered getting one.

Your better off getting a Speedster or CFR for that outlay.

I agree, do seem a bit pricey for what they are.
