What size DI are you on about matt?

Gardiners had some good deals recently on reconditioned ones if I remember correctly.

Stream supplies sent me a mailshot selling a 8" x 18"  13 Litre for £49.99 reduced from £78.45

That's good value.

just purchased a 11 litre di from the guy on ebay.

can someone tell me how much resin i will need to fill it and best place/price to get the resin.

Well actually, never fill it with 11Ltrs, fill it with about 9ltrs. get resin from most suppliers. Try & get DOWEX though.
