HELP with DI vessel

i have just installed a new di vessel and the water thats coming out of it id reading a TDS of 002, The water has been through a 200gpd ro unit and its 004 when its goes into the tank in the van.
Am i missing something as i have never used one of these before

As long as the resin is new it will definitely take the tds down to 000ppm.
You might have to run water through it for about 10 mins and then check your tds. I bet it's 000

let me know if im right.
Every time i refill my di bottle it never comes out 000 to start with. It always takes a few mins to come right.
