Cryogenic cleaning
« on: June 02, 2007, 01:07:43 pm »
Just read a write up on a business that has just set up to do cleaning  by blasting dry ice.

Anyone heard of this before, what applications does it have and how does it work?

Hello, they use dry ice to clean injection molds of flashing, its similar to soda blasting but with nothing to clear up - however you have to have it delivered to site in an insulated box and when it gets warm its gone. Its a real specialist blasting media and only available from very few suppliers
