Do any of you use specialist software for keeping check of call frequencies and of course the financial side?  I am fairly ok with Microsoft Excel etc but would prefer a ready made system.

If not what method do you prefer to use?

There is a program that is available and is quite popular.  Its called George:

It is very good, and you can download a free 30 - day trial.

The full version costs £50, well worth it in my opinion.

Right - I've downloaded George - looks great.  Just made up some dummy info to get to know the program and getting on well.  

Have tried to register the program but having problems getting in to the registration section of the George site - might be down for maintenance being a Sunday.

Only one thing  I haven't managed to sort so far - how do I change the $ sign for a £ sign?

Here is how to change the currency in george taken from the george website.

George uses whatever currency symbol you have set up in your copy  of Windows. To change it - close down George (if it’s running), click on "My Computer" then on "Control Panel" and then on "Regional Settings". Select your own country from the list (US/UK users should make sure they select the correct one of “English (United Kingdom)” or “English (United States)” and then click on the "Apply" button at the bottom of the panel. You might need to reboot you computer before this takes effect,

Now have pound signs - easy when you know   - cheers.

Have registered ok now - just trying to work out how to delete the dummy data I entered while getting to know the program.
