Driveway cleaning for a newbie
« on: May 09, 2007, 05:00:30 pm »
hi all, i am currently a window cleaner but was considering branching out my business to contain driveway and patio cleaning. What i wanted to know was how or where do you get information on learning how to be a driveway cleaner.

If there are any driveway cleaners out there i want to know how you got into it and learnt the trade.

For example are there any really good informative websites out there for me to go on or books i can buy etc that will answer some of my questions?

Hi

No real training as far as I am aware... I have been doing this for 3 years now and have learned a few things on the way but only had a bit of training from the guy I bought the kit from.
If you want to come and spend a day with me then no problem, we are not too far away from eachother... not too close either  ;)

It is worth setting yourself up correctly from the beginning as far as kit is concerned, you will only be disappointed in the future if you don't.

Loads of work out there though especially at this time of year.

There is a guy in Southampton who is selling his kit (medical reasons for packing it in) who I have worked with on different projects... all the gear and well kept.  Includes a van with a cherry picker too!
If you want to speak to him, let me know.

Hope this helps.

Andy
