if you search the forum, you will find miles and miles of info regarding build cleaning.

the surveyors departments are the people that send out tender response requests.

first thing though, is that you need to be asked to be put on the list, at that point some companies will send you out a pre qualificatin questionnairre, to complete.  only after they have received that back, and it scores high enough will they then add you to the list of potential suppliers.
