i've got the 44ft carbon facelift but break it down to 24ft for 95% of the time. had it 5 months, it's a superb pole, well worth the money.so easy to use its unreal, very robust too, clamps are a dream. the standard brush is a wee bit too big for domestic though, very good for commercial. I got a thread adaptor & now use a rectangular vikan for domestic work. very, very good pole. :D

I have the 24ft carbon if you buy one don`t get the standard brush just get it with a thread on the end so you can choose your own light brush and gooseneck, essentially pure sell these poles and are well worth the money for that height and every day use in my opinion it`s the best pole there is at the moment,i would say the best brush i`ve used with it is the new vikan mono, awesom brush and also a lot lighter than the bog standard vikan.

I think they have some at Essentially Pure, the best goosenecks are the new slightly shorter ones which are ideal for these poles, they have a female thread at one end and a standard male thread on the other which means you can swop from pole to pole. There very light and more robust than the plastic jobbies.Give Tony or Mark a ring i`m sure they have a few left.Cheers Nigel.

The 24ft carbonfibre will be the next pole i go for but for the price they want for it i will wait till they get a decent brush on it.  Its very expensive but as the saying goes you get what you pay for must say was very impressed it was also very ridgid and light

On one of the other threads someone metioned a show (Black Pool?) and Facelift Lads demonstrating. I was a bit annoyed at them trying to sell even more of a product that no one can get hold of. They should be back a the depot packing or extruding.

I've been waiting four weeks. If my order can't be fullfilled they should say so. I wont mention the supplier because I get on very well with them but they keep giving me a story that's been told to them and they don't take my calls anymore.

Yes they are great and probably the best, but I bet Gardiners would get me one of those composites within a couple of days.

The older guy from facelift i think hes one of the partners was not at the show perhaps he was at the depot packing  ;D

Are you waiting for a pole as facelift seem to be very popular.

like i said on the other thread, if your supplier dont stock them then go direct to facelift, they have a website & phone number, they will sell you them i'm sure.
I bought my pole (44ft) direct from facelift  & got them to throw me a fibreglass base section in to use at 24ft for nowt :D it was here the next day, they also threw me some spare clamp levers in too but i've never had to use them. ;)
(if i was desperate for a base protector i would probably make one out of an old tennis ball or something)

The mention of a back order of 40k sounds a lot. If you work it out though at their prices this is les than 100 poles.
Assuming it's not some bloke in his own garage what's the problem?

Did they physically have poles at the show?

Im under the impression they didn't have poles there to sell, only take order essentially.
