HELP! I WANT TO BUY THE BEST POLE
« on: May 01, 2007, 09:50:15 pm »
For residential so far ive bought ionic glass fibre poles, would i be best paying out for carbon now? Im thinking 24ft and a 35 ft for 3 storey. Or should i stick with buying glass fibre.

I dont really think much of the ionic poles, keep splitting, heads are crap (thinking Gazza Brush), clamps wear too, etc, etc!

Where should i buy from? Carbon or glass fibre?

I have the new Extel composite. Half the price of carbon only and superb to use.  Light, short sections and extending and retracting is so easy with the new clamps they have on.

Mine will extend up to 34ft but I use it now on ground 1st and 2nd floor work mainly but with the ability to do 3rd floor if needed. Ive only done 2 days with it but I am very impressed overall.

brightnclean,

Where did you get your composite pole from, and how much was it?

forget glass fibre mate, its time for you to go carbon. the difference is unreal, more expensive but more than worth it, your work will be so much quicker & easier. me personaly, i use a carbon facelift, its the business, but i would think any carbon pole would serve you well.

Hi Andy.

I got it at the Fed show in Blackpool from Andrew McCann at Pure Freedom. It was £399.00 all in.

Its a carbon/glass fibre composite. I am very pleased with it. As I said I've only used it for the past 2 days but it's already paying dividends.

apart from selling!

i have been using the new x-tell range,  not bad as a pole i used the 24 foot which is four section of 5.5
used all day on downstairs as well, cant wait for the 18 foot to try should be a good pole for my needs

the new vikan rectangular 10 inch awsome brush in my opinion worth having one

personally i agree with tony that carbon fibre is the way, but if you want a compramsie the new hybryid worth a try but the glas fiber range is good

all the prices and ranges will be active on line today we are just finishing the updates on line

It`s the new one monofiliment, ring them at essentially pure they have loads of em got mine today and used it,it`s a really good brush much better than the normal vikan less rinsing needed. And because of the type of bristles your able to cut into the corners better, the bend on the bristles is perfect not to hard yet not to soft.

I want to buy the best pole too, but I have to wait????I believe others are waiting as well.

In my experience companies that can't supply a much in demand premium priced product have cash flow problems. I don't believe all this technical stuff.
