Sorry mate, but I would say that £100 is about right! Powerpoles are very out dated now, and very heavy!!

They are very good poles IMO but I have needed to get something a bit lighter as one of my shoulders was starting to feel the strain.  I like their versatility as it's a very quick release to remove a brush and put another tool in the end (such as a cladding brush or a scraper).  Also they are very rigid and strong.  I found my problem occurred when using at an awkward angle.  Normal angles no problem but when reaching over stuff, my shoulder was getting too twingy.  I'm now using an 18 ft Extender pole that I only bought a few days ago (with a 10" brush) and my shoulder is starting to feel better already.  I would have no problem using a powerpole at 36ft so long as the angles were OK.

As I said they are way too heavy! I know because I had one, and my shoulders are still aching now!!
