help with marks on windows

i did a new house the other day, and when i got there, there was water marks on the windows. and runs, i could not shfit them, all i can think it is off the wall, i think they're lime walls, but anyone know anything to shift this

i did a house a while back ago and went back the next month after those bad storms and his windows looked like this too. i again could not shift it, went back the next month and the chimney sweep guy had cured it, but wouldnt tell the gentlemen what it was, big "secret"

but anyone, please help as i said id find out  ;)

Mineral deposit remover (MDR),
I was told to try Cillit Bang but put 2 lots on but its still there so next thing is to try MDR.

i have been told to use cillit bang, but i know for a fact it doesnt do what i want it to do

I have used MDR and it is great stuff
You put it on with a rag leave it for a few mins then buff it off
Job done.

yes it does work
I have used it a number of times when I was trad
When you get limescale deposits and runs around leadwork.
Apply with a rag/cloth leave it for a few mins and it dries a little chalky
then buff it up.
