Summer Uniform - Shorts and T-Shirts

I've just ordered some light-weight sign-written T-Shirts (5.95 each including sign writing) from Dezigned4u (01291 424383).  They're very good - local to me - top quality stuff; I'm not on commission either!

But I'm after some proper work-wear shorts; preferably something with lots of zip pockets for cash/change/chits and stuff.

Has anyone got any links you can recommend where to buy from?

But no good!

I'm after some work shorts for Wor Lass, as well as myself, and your tip doesn't provide women's work wear. 

In fact after about 20 minutes of googling, I've found nothing for women; apart from one US site, but I'd rather use a UK company.

Anyone else?

try ebay i put in a search for dickies workwear always find what i need
although i have never looked for women clothing
or at least i am not admiting to it ;)

I've done that; you're not helping!  ;D

I need work wear shorts for a size 8 to 10 female!  (She reckons her 'fat bottom' forces to her buy size ten stuff when her waist is a size 8???; but don't ask me, I haven't a clue about this sort of stuff; I'm just trying to keep my 'staff' happy.)

Has anyone else any links for some manual labouring work-wear for women?

Can't you just lend her some of your women's work wear Tosh?  :)

Can't you just lend her some of your women's work wear Tosh?  :)

Was in TK Max the other day and they had a very large selection of mens and womens shorts, i picked up some combat style shorts in blue for £6.00.

As  already mentioned STRAUSS Direct (www.straussdirect.com) They are excellent value. Just for a laugh I have bought some white ones. Maybe I will be brave and post a pic next wee. ;D 8)

I only find they are too long and I have them taken up as far as they can go which is only so far as mobile pocket on left leg is quite low.

Last year I bought trouser/short Combo sets. Very very heavy duty and were around £30 per set.

dickies are on sale in wickes DIY shop, they have all the end of the range gear half price, loads of odd sizes, so you might get a smallish waist
