alluminum goose neck,or plastic

ive always used a plastic goose neck up to now. are the alluminium goosenecks better. will they fit onto the same screw end that the plastic one fits on. and will a larger vikan brush make me faster? thanks. ???

No a large vikan brush will not make you quicker it will make you slower and give you sore shoulders.LOL.

thats why i`m thinking of changing over. does anyone know if they will fit to a screw fitting on my pole?

Depends which ones you buy.

Our G-fit aluiminium ones do, they screw onto the plastic thread on the end of most poles. They are also still very light at just 113g.

the aluminium ones are better for reach but you are restricted to that angle only. I sometimes screw two plastic ones together if i need a bit of extra reach to get to the bottom of some windows.

I am looking for a alu gooseneck, the pole I want it to fit is from purefreedom and has a metal thread on the top, does yours fit this type of pole alex?

Hi A R,

The G-fit range will screw on to the end of your pole as the aluminium pole thread is the same as the plastic ones.

 The only difference with the plastic pole ends is that you can drill a hole down through the centre of them and use the G-fit's hose through capactity. This is not essential for use though and the hose can just be taped to the outside of the gooseneck.

Make sure that you choose the right one for your brush, there are 3 Types.

I rec'd my 'Type 1' goose neck this morning and have to say it fits well onto my freedom pole and is very very light
