Is pure water the same as deionised?
« on: April 21, 2007, 09:06:13 pm »
Just wondered if pure water could be used in vehicle radiators, kettle, house iron etc with the same effect as deionised water from the local garage??

If it's been put through an RO Unit and then through a resin bead, then yes it is deionised water.

Yes Alex is saying the resin in your DI unit.
My Boss uses my deionised water in her iron, and I put some in the washer bottle with a little screen wash.
