I did exactly the same (I bet you pushed it the wrong way). After much swearing I stood mine on end and filled the loose end with wd40 between the pole walls and left it for a couple of hours. When I came back I found some plastic pipe of the right diameter I think it was a waste pipe connecter and gently tapped the pipe through the tube. It worked for me but be very very carefull. Alex won't be far away so I'm sure it's not new to him.

Hi Marc

As the manual says

'Inside the all yellow section you will find 3 other sections, slide out sections No. 5, 6, 8

Make sure you pull these from the slightly larger bottom end. The number 8 section may need pushing out from the opposite end.'

To push the No 8 out from the opposite end (smaller end) you may need something to push with.  I would use something like the blunt end of a wooden pencil.

have put wd40 on it but it seems that one end is wedged tight the other end you can see the other pole but that is the end you dont want to push ,when i was unpacking the poles they all slid out it wasnt a case of pushing the wrong way i have not had a chance to push this one yet i have tried a pencil alex but it just seems to not want tp move                                                                                 marc

this happened to mine once i used my socket set one of the sockets in a socket set should fit the diameter of the pole perfectly put this in the hole and you can push very hard and it wont do any damage mine came out easily, hope this helps.
better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove any doubt

HI Marc,

Send your telephone number to this email alex@agardiner.co.uk and I will ring you back, I'm sure we can get it sorted fairly easily.

The bit you can see is the bit you need to pull I expect. Whatever you use be very carefull because the walls are wafer thin and pretty sharp. I tried a bit of wood and it just splintered. If you tap it out the blank you use needs to be just the right size and relatively soft so not to damage the tube. I very lightly massaged the tubes untill the wd40 could be seen just starting to weep from the tight end. Suggest you don't try anything too drastic or it could cost a small fortune. Stick with Alex he's a top bloke.

Hi Marc

The couriers had details on Wednesday for a pick up on Thursday 19th.  Kirsty will chase them up on Monday.  In the meantime, we will send out a section No 8 to you Monday which should reach you on Tuesday.

Hi Marc,

We still have not received the poles back yet, must be the Bank Holiday delay with the couriers. We will turn them around and back out to you in about 10 minutes once we have them.

Alex

When I received my supalite each end had some white powdery stuff on it. What is that as I'd to put some more on as it stops the jamming after use.

thanks
Tim

Hi Tim

It is a thin film of sprayed on PTFE.  You should have a can of it in with your Super-Lite.  If you are missing this can, please let me know.
