Frontpage is ok but still complicated to a novice there are better programs out there like dreamweaver but i have no knowledge of that one.

Try this:

http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/officelive/default.aspx

microsofts latest addition. for a basic site it is free. Free site builder free hosting and more than enough free bandwidth. Also get free domain name and free domain email address like:

Have a look at www.geocities.com.

There's an online web site design thingumagig that includes a few templates. It's as simple as typing in boxes and dragging and dropping stuff.

There's also a free option so you can play at building a website before comitting any money.

I used streamline.net
cost £28 with website name (www.co.uk) for 2 years.
You can build your own site which is straight  forward and use it free for a month and then if your happy with it you pay to keep it.

Could try this one: http://www.ezgenerator.com/documents/164.html
Easier than Front Page apparently.
