Me too. Fiance gets kit ready / packs away, moves furniture, fills machine and talks to custys - all I have too do is the actual cleaning ;D On bigger jobs we get the second machine out and I make her work for a living!!!! ;D She often does carpets while I do curtains / upholstery.

If you pay your partner properly and do PAYE for them, you also save a shed load of tax by using their tax allowance. Plus if you file annual returns on line Gordon (is a moron) gives you some back - £250 last year, £150 this year. Shame he grabbed back the 10% band AND tax relief on pension contributions this year ???

Hi Guys,

On a note of caution from someone with a bit of experience ;), it's fine being a partnership when everything is going well, but what about if a divorce occurs, will she be entitled to half ?

Worth thinking about .

Cheers

Doug
