Question

If you have own label products, do you need to carry extra liability insurance to cover yourself?

Law isn't always logical, but I would presume that you would.

Safe and happy cleaning :)

Hi,

You do need to contact your insurance company if supplying chemicals to a client becomes part of your business.  Our insurance company (mill hall representing loyds i think) let us supply splitter at no extra premium.

Has anyone found a supply of plastic labels that take colour laser printing?

The standard paper ones are destroyed over time with spillage of splitter.. .this defeats the purpose of giving it to the client.

Inks run >> you really need to use what some suppliers of spotters describe as "heatset technology"... laser printing with pigments.

Other considerations are the labeling regs.  Google for CHIP and read throught it if you fancy putting a label together.  Most of it doesnt apply to a splitter.

Hope this helps

Philip, where do you get £45 for 250 labells ??? my link was £45 a thousand and Steves was £35 a thousand

Reading this thread seems like the easiest and cheapest way would be to buy a load from Aldi's and just stick your own label on
