Hi i live on the I.O.W been going for a year,it's been hard work getting a round uptogether but it's getting here.As for that round for sale i don't now who's selling but some cowboys went round getting a quick round up together at about £3.50 - £4.00 per 3 bed house which is a bad price down here £8.00 _ £ 10.00 about right.

HI Had a look in yellow pages Isle of wight and there's about 20 in there but there's at least that again, I e not paying tax ect... There's also alot that don't need much more work so they don't go out there way to get it.

I used to be a window cleaner on the I.O.W thats where i first started window cleaning.

Its the same as everywhere else there's plenty of work there if you are prepared to look for it.

Put an ad in the isle of wight county press and see what responce you get from it.
I dare say you will get some replies as the paper covers the whole of the island.

I'd certainly like to work there.

I've been loads of times, and going again in a month or so.

Mind you, the novelty would soon wear off.
Once you've lived somewhere for a few years it ceases to be so special.

Hi dwc
Went to the Isle of Wight for the last two years and have had the very same thoughts as you - it's a big move though (in our view anyway).
We're back there for another holiday in June - no doubt we'll be looking in the agents over there once again, but I know we'll stick to sunny Ramsgate in the end  :)
Matt.
