POLE CARRIER PROBLEM
« on: March 20, 2007, 09:41:03 am »
Hi,

I have been simply strapping my 40ft pole to the van rack... now looking for a pole / tube carrier...

what do you guys do with the brush head..?... its a bit of a pain unstrapping the pole, but is it quicker than releasing the two small tubes attached to the brush, then unscrewing the brush head off... or do you leave it sticking out, if so how? if it has a padlock or a simple screw cap... cheers for any input.

Gary.

cut a slot in the pole carrier so the pole goes inand then thhe goosneck fits in the slot and the pole carrier can then be locked

Trev,

What do you do with all the hose... just stuff it in the tube?

Gary.

hi gaz i usually put the hose in the back of the van and shut the door on it , the van is a nissan primstar and their is a rubber seal all the way round the door so this prevents it damaging the hose , check your own van you may be able to do same , if not why not wrap in loop put some velcro round and hook onto the roofrack. i hope that helps.

Hi ,

Do you all use the 110mm pipe or 150mm (6")... as i cant get the wide  6" pipe anywhere ... but would def. be better for putting the hose in there too.

Gary.
