2nd hand IBC's
« on: March 17, 2007, 04:21:42 pm »
Anybody ever had any problems with using second hand IBC's?.  I bought my first one new because I worried about what might have been in one previously might affect the purity of the stored water.

I need a second one now, and if I can manage with a used one it will save me quite a bit, but I need to be sure because I'll be connecting the two up in tandem so could contiminate the first one.

Cheers,

Ian

Hi Ian

Both mine have been second user and had no probs at all.
Just make sure that it did not have oil ,etc in previously.
I got both mine off ebay and the guy had the things all washed out prior
to delivering to me.
I got one black and one white (couldn't make my mind up which was better)
Only prob I have got is that the threads on outlet at bottom are different which is a pain in the jacks as I am going to connect them up soon.
