Shurflo backpack owners
« on: March 15, 2007, 12:39:40 pm »
Im wanting to take off the trigger. Has anyone done this and if so what fittings would I need from end of black hose to hozelock? Gonna use an on/of flow control. Have snapped the trigger handle already..... ::) Have checked the size of the male threaded end that fits onto tube and its 3/4inch.

Cheers

Kingaknaa, speak to mike at cleantech they do a fitting thats 100 times better and stronger than those flimsy triggers, we always have these fitted when we order a new backpack.

I go straight to the pole hose by cutting off the trigger and putting in a schrader connector spigot into 6mm hose and then pushing that into the 8mm shurflo hose which I then secure with a jubilee clip.

When I used hozelock I did similarly by pushing the shurflo hose into the 12mm hose and tightening that with a jubilee clip.

BTW don't pay £40 for a spare battery when you can get them for £12.50!
It's a game of three halves!
