Cost me three days work, put my truckmount in someone else's van , and couldn't be bothered to be even a little magnanimous.

Would only refund £950 of my £1000 deposit,so it call cost me £50 quid for the pleasure !

Top that one  ;)

emailed them for price/info on a pump, no reply in over a week.

People say their prices are the best, but so what if they won't talk to you or support you when you have.

Hi,

who have you spoken to at woodbridge, if you email sales or info the email addresses are not working due to the website being updated and being re jigged so you can buy online.

if you email to Dan@wcsuk.com or Paul@wcsuk.com im sure you get an answer.
i personally try to answer every email i get, sometime i will admit people get missed out due to how busy we are.

if you want to send me an email i can try to sort it out for you.

thanks

I went in there with a wand I had for a truckmount asked if I could upgrade the trigger valve as it wasnt powerful enough to take the new pressure.

They said no you will have to have a new wand.
I went to Alltec and Chris replaced it with a higher pressure valve no probs.

Last year I went in there as I was working locally with my Altec machine that was playing up, asked if they could look at it rather than go all the way to Royston.

They said 'No we dont work on cheap machines', if that sums up there attitude they wont be getting my work or buy their  products, thats just a silly attitude to have, grow up Woodbridge and look after your customers and you might not get so much adverse publicity.

Phoned woodbridge again today to sort out my bill and pay, they said Dan was with a customer and very busy. I am trying to pay a 2 grand bill. he will most probably phone me back tommorrow, so they must be busy not to phone me back today for payment.

As for service i find them not bad at all and their prices are normally unbeatable, also when your in the sh.t and need somthing urgent they bend over backwards to help, so if they are that bad why do people keep going back to use them time and time again.

The person that started this conversation about woodbridge also put a quote on here about the dolly birds at Alltec  were brilliant and the non smilers at woodbridge were rubbish, but ended up buying a truck mount from Woodbridge so they cant be that bad can they.

Its funny how people say one thing on the website and another thing to peoples faces and also i think that when people help you when you self inflict a fault on your own machine (filling it up incorrectly !!!!! dirty water) i think the service is spot on and really you couldnt ask for more when you damage your own machine and they put it right.

Woodbridge get 10 out of 10 from me and im not biast, i speak as i find.

You got the wrong fella mate

Im pretty sure your on about me with your last comments and it was Craig that started this topic ???

I aint even gonna start slagging anybody off on here, but Woodbridge i was expecting a call of you guys today that never came?

I know Dan's on here every day so try and sort my problem out please mate and give me a call.

Then i can come on here in a couple of days and tell everybody how great you all are ;D
I dont wanna be the next one on here slagging you of ;)

And just to clarify my previous comments
I do buisness with both Alltec and Woodbridge and they both have there good and bad points

You will get better service at Alltec (fact) but you will pay for it.
And you will get better prices at Woodbridge (fact) but imo they stretch therselves to much and need more staff, its great that you can buy something of them for a fraction of the price of other suppliers but its frustrating when you have a problem with it and theres nobody around to fix it.

Woodbridge are obviously doing well or they wouldnt allways be so busy and lets be honest price is allways gonna be a factor for most of us when buying equipment, all they need to do is get another technician working in there and get somebody handling there aftersales care and they would have it sorted.

If your having a large volume of sales then you have more equipment out there thats gona go wrong and/or need servicing so you need more technicians to service these things. Nobodys gona care if there television or microwave breaks down and they have to wait a week to get it fixed but these machines are our livleyhood we really need a one day turnaround when we break down else we aint eating or paying the mortgage that week. We cant afford to have our vans of the road for a week.

But, wouldn't you want to pay a little extra to recieve the better service after all thats what we are telling our clients.

I have used both as well albeit Woodbridge many years ago so can not comment on their prices and service today as it relates to me but if I was them reading this on here,  I would make it priority to sort out the response times and service issues pretty dam quick. No excuse to say I'm too busy, you don't want to hear that when your new machine has just broken down in Mrs Jones front room.

Carpet cleaners make big purchases with money they can some times ill afford to go into this business so service and reliability is everything, Alltec can't be faulted on this nor Solutions, Express or John Kelly etc  , I f I was thinking about a new machine today or was new to the business and buying my first, whats been mentioned on here would help me in narrowing down my search.

The alltec one the show is a monster  :o :o something like 61 Hp, which is much more powerfull than Woodbridge truckmounts, cost you over 20 grand as well.

imo you only need that power if your daul wanding alot (im assuming its a daul machine) other wise is it not wasted power? or more importantly fuel.

PS. thanks Woodbridge now sorted!!

Craig it is primarily for dual wanding.  The fuel doesnt matter too much as it is lpg.  For £20,000 it still wont out heat or out peform mine.  Best, Dave.    But it is a monster...... For 20,000 I would want a clutch, brake, air, power windows in mine if you know what I mean........

How many other suppliers reguarly get bad service reports on here ?

Says a lot if you ask me.

If only one person is capable of delivering a decent service (and thats debateable) in a company then be prepared to wait for any help you may require , post purchase.

I can't comment too much as my original post was removed after a couple of hours but suffice to say i was all geared up for the fitting ,they gave me a date at their open day and when i called to confirm (having booked the time off) they just talked gaga ...eventually telling me the truckmount i had put down a £1000 deposit on was fitted into someone else's van (their words).I cancelled the order expecting a full refund.

So 3 days work £600 quid ,£50 quid out of my deposit (they stole) an almost wasted day out of my life at their open day was the sum total of what woodbridge did for me.

As luck would have it i actually met a prochem guy at their open day and contacted him about the blazer...it was fitted perfectly ,on time, and to date i've done 165 hours with it without one hitch. From reading other posts i think i would have been back and forth had i kept to my original plan.

I'm not bitter you understand  ;) but after the way they spoke to my other half on the phone i will gladly take every opportunity to tell my story every time their name pops up ,,which is quite frequently  :)
