I have just cleaned quite a large roof and have 3 others to do.  The roof isnt flat by any means but the slope is nothing to worry about.  It was, as the others are too, flat tiles.  Not having cleaned a roof before I was wondering to those who do how I go about charging.  Best, Dave.

Dave I think you've got everyone stumped with this roof cleaning question, on things like this I work it on my hourly rate plus a bit extra for the inconvenience

Dave. Possibly got the wrong end of the stick. But if these are floor tiles on a roof terrace, then they would be the same price as if they were on the ground floor, plus any additional cost involved in getting equipment in place. The roof will have a fall(slope) to avoid standing water petration.

Alternatively change your name to Topol and think of a number then double it.

Rambly, they are roof tiles so over-lap and have a step down in the usual way.

Have cleaned a fair few roofs in my time. As Mike says, charge by the hour and then add on liberally to allow for the fact that you are working a roof.
Also check out your insurance, not just whether it covers your life and limb but also because any roof that needs cleaning probably means that not all the tiles will be in A1 condition. If you end up dislodging or damaging tiles it can become a costly business
