Serious answer now.  My best ever day was about £250.  Some people can do that and more regularly.  I tend not to though.  There are days I might do £170.  There are days when I get to three figures and skive off.  There are days when I just want a quick fifty and go home.  I have even gone out before just to do one shop front close by and then gone home.
At the moment I can do this because I do not have a full workload.  It seems silly busting a gut to get through work more quickly just to get an extra day or two off when I already get a fair bit of time off anyway.  When my workload is fuller, I should be earning a lot better.
I don't have a problem putting stuff like this on here as I'm not stating my annual income or anything like that.  I run my business with scrupulous honesty and pay my dues to the state anyway.
I doubt that I earn any more than someone with an OK paid job but I do get a lot more free time and a lot more choices about how to live my life.  Those are the biggest bonuses and are worth far more than money to me.

I hope the first bunch of posters are seriously joking, because on a good day, Gross £150 is easily possible, about 10-15 good sized houses. That's just me.  ???

Being offered a cuppa at every house!
Several years ago on one of the nursing homes I use to clean a certain individual woman always use to cook me a full English breakfast regardless of what time of the day it was. The price for the nursing home wasn't brilliant but the hospitality was!

If I work a full day then I'd be very disappointed if I didn't exceed £150 plus...but that doesn't mean I have all full days, depends on circumstances.

Individual days can on occasion far exceed that figure.

But you do need to have well priced work, and you also need to be experienced and  quick at what you are doing.
It takes time to become quick, and of course it also takes time to build up enough work so that you are in a position to be able to earn reasonable money.

People outside of window cleaning may well think, "Wow, look at the money you can earn window cleaning!"
And they are right...you CAN earn very good money indeed, but it takes many, many months of hard slog before you get there, in fact, more often it takes a few years :-\
Instant easy money it ain't!
According to the tax man, the average turnover for  a window cleaner is around the £17-£19,000 per year, (and that isn't your wage remember) which of course means a great many earn far less than that.

Although a fair target to aim for is £100 and above for your daily turnover, taken over 12 months, even if you regularly top a ton, it's unlikely in the extreme you will be submitting 25k plus to the tax man...

Part time I'm on about 600 per month I would need an awefull lot more to go full time obviously, but I'm working at it. It's a bit like fishing really some days no new customers then other days three or four new ones come in together, the best ones are when you get recommended - lifts you back up again for a while.

My wife and I work about 5 1/2 hrs during school time and aim to earn £180 that was traditional, some times hitting £250.  We've been wfp about 7 weeks and are suddenly going a lot faster.  On some nhs work done on an annual basis we can get £750 in a day but that's a 12 hr day for both of us.

I think that's terrific that you've got that far in just 9 months.  I wish the internet was around in its current form when I was early in my business.  It would have saved me years of aggro, working underpriced for customers who always had a moan.  I just didn't realise what was possible.  The forums I use and WFP have revolutionised things for me.  After 15 years as a window cleaner, I feel as if I'm barely beginning.

Without you quoting a bit of the text from a post, it's hard to know who you are asking.  However, if you were asking me, I've been window cleaning since late 1991.

Nah they're having a laugh mate.  Sometimes I might only take £50 or £80 in a day but I'm talking about a part day when I'm busy with non work stuff too.  Sometimes I just need to pop out to get finished in a particular area and then knock off early to do other things.  I find it important to do other (non work) things too as I find window cleaning isn't particularly mentally stimulating.
