Chamois leather was a tried and test method for donkeys years, when I first started I often used a chamois leather to clean plate glass windows, and I did a top job too...quite a skill mind!

An advantage of a chamois is that it works best when wet... where as a micro-fibre cloth for instance is crap when wet... :(

I've got a chamois; I tend to use it for detailing. I love the slimey feel when it's dripping wet. Also it doesn't seem to leave anything behind (unlike my scrim and micro). They're damned expensive aren't they!?
