DI BEFORE OR AFTER PUMP??

i am currently installing a 4040 ro system in my new van and am wondering what order the pump and di canister should go, i believe it is pump then di but just wanted to confirm for sure, i have looked through the other posts and can not pin-point this!!

Hi Matt
Di is after the pump mate, this eliminates any contamination it may pick up from the pump.

Done mine before pump seems ok. Someone said they should not be pressurised, tds reading zero.

Most people have the di after the pump however we set our systems up so the di is before the pump.. This has a few advantages.
1 - when running 2 pumps there is no interference, that is each pump and reel line is completely independant of the other.
2 - it eliminates the risk of creep stress fracturing of the di vessel (creep stress is caused by stress on a body - in this case the vessel - over a period of time.

mine is di into the tank then the pump then brush still 000ppm one year later all the water in the tank is pure
