I very nearly bought an Ergo-lite carbon fibre pole today, but I managed to resist the impulse-buy.
You know how it starts :
"Hmm, that brush head is getting worn. I do need a new brush head. Actually, a new pole would be nice, would look good to customers too - just a fibre glass one though.
Look at that though, the carbon fibre ones are only a couple of hundred more, hmmm...
BUT I used an ergo-lite a few weeks ago and it was very good. Its not THAT much more really, when you think how good it is. And thats what you need for a professional image.
Yeah, carbon fibre ergo-lite, really its the only pole to have.
Pay for itself practically, will all the business it'll bring in.
Imagine the work you could do with it. And its a lot easier to use. There's no choice really, its got to be an ergo-lite."
Then I thought :
Hold on a minute, Brush head = about £50
Ergo-lite = about £1,050
Somewhere down the line there I spent an extra £1,000 because I needed a new brush head!
Phew, glad I resisted the impulse, or I'd be losing sleep now.
That ergo-lite is on my shopping list, but I'll wait till I get a few new contracts maybe!
We're funny old things, aren't we?
