Whats it worth
« on: February 10, 2007, 06:34:41 pm »
I intend to retire from window cleaning this spring and am wondering what the value of the round would be?
I currently turn over about £1000 a month working 31/2 to 4 days aweek about 6 hours a day in the Burton on Trent area with a mixture of domestic and comercial work. and have been established for 20 years. any opinions or advice you have would be most appreciated

thank you.
the 1st of july is coming hooray

I would say £2,000 - £3,000 would be a fair price, perhaps a little more, depending on how much the comercial work is worth.
I can remember when waking up stiff in the morning was a good thing.

if i was buying £2000-£3000 is what i would want to pay
but a twenty year old round would you want to sell so low?
if the work is compact and well priced you could get more
location seems to be a factor also
i believe in manchester they sell rounds regularly at 10x the monthly total :o
at the end of the day its only worth what someone will pay

Hi Bluenote,
I may be interested in the work if you are still considering selling.

What are your prices ie how many jobs for that amount?

Also what is the split residential/Commercial please?

round in lancashire area go for sale at ten times and above what they turn over.and even higher if the work is top notch, ie compact no back walls to climb and no ledded windows
