« on: February 01, 2007, 10:58:17 pm »
Hi,

Im going to start having a lad helping me with my work soon as am getting quite busy and going to be getting alot more work over 2007. He will be working 3days a week with me.

What is the best way to do this? self employed way or PAYE?  which means i need E/L insurance is there anywere you can get just E/L insurance and not E/L & P/L because i have 5million with insured risks and have paid my full year till september.

Hiya,
my understanding is that if they work for you for more than 2 days a week they have to be classed as employees. Unless you are renting them the work and equipment etc.
