well in fairness to that ebay seller...Ionics did sell it to him and they are a reputable seller. Here is the system on their web site:

press "Reach and Wash Systems" link on the left of page and then press "Multipoles"

I use one of these "systems" for occasional conservatory roofs. It'd be rubbish for day to day work though, because the filter does maybe 6 or 7 roofs, and then needs replacing, at 30 quid a time!

I swear it is only a matter of time before someone makes an affordable one of these and the customers all say in harmony  "That local window cleaner uses something like this and it works for him!"

I swear cheapo WFP systems will kill the trade eventually.

Karl you may be right but we hope not!

the answer is simple dont buy from the cheapsters buy from established manufacturers

that way customers wont buy cheapy systems and sack all window cleaners

If the Ionics Home System is a runaway success, surely they could end up shooting themselves in the foot?

I have my very own set of 'Harris' paintbrushes, but I have still just paid someone to paint my house for me.

I really do not think that we have anything to worry about.

good points.

Actually, had to do a quote the other day for an "Upstairs only" job as she had "bought all the gear but did not want to go up the ladders"

When I got there she never mentioned the upstairs and just said "quote for the lot!"

So I guess folks will always want us.

Also when looking for my local janitorial supplies it had moved, was opposite an ironing shop.  Did not spot it and went in to ask, jeez it was a busy little place.  Everyone has an iron :D but 3 girls working hard.

Supose its alright if you get it for £50.00, and you could use the "Reach & Wash" logo etc. :)

Good point it's worth getting even for the pole and the use of the logo and slogan!
