as with all stain video it still wet when they clean it, much easier to remove, customers know this, so who do they think they are kidding?
We have just started to use video and it only basic at the moment its about learning about what works and how to use the equipment, editting etc.
its early days with video and marketting but you will see much more of it, as the internet is the new sat tv. in the coming years you will see spilicalist internet channels.
I have just hocked up my flat screen to an old pc with broadband and its a whole new world. from your tube to torrents.
as we get more smaller spacialist chennels its will mean that these chennels will look for new advertisers, as there will be so many channels. just think a mother and baby channel would be great for an advert from a group of carpet cleaners or a network or franchise selling the benifits of healthy carpets and the dangers of hard floors to children.
Its not that far off. you can bet franchises will be the first to spot this and use it. this is one reason i will be saving my money and looking at buying into one.
with information overload that we are all getting it will make us be more selective about what we read and watch. as we all have the same amount of time.
it posable to right now shot a video embed it into a web page use pay per click to drive prospects to it. it only takes one cleaner to do it and others will follow. I was at a fast track meeting last year and as a test robert asked one of his young female staff to go and get the yellow pages. she did not know where it was, so he asked her what she did when she needed somthing she answered the internet. this xmas sales doubled on the internet, its time for eveyone to spead their wings and learn how to use this tool.
it will be good new for members of groups like ncca as these groups should lead the way. with poeple like joe polish pushing his ethical service provider site prospects will feel more at ease using carpet cleaners on these type of sites. done well these groups should start to become an important part of independant carpet cleaners marketing mix and lead genaration.
