pole snapped today

i started work just after 9 and got all my kit out, did the front upstairs and then started the back of the house and BANG

the top 2 foot snapped off the pole

now its a aluminum pole and they are strong

my first thought was its was the cold

so now i have to buy a new pole

very strange

Thats not so good! Was it the unger pole?

We have found that Aluminium poles do this as they get older.

 They show very few signs of wear generally but can suddenly snap in use.

Ive ben using this for near 3 years now and the guy i had it off used it for 2 years, so i guess at about 5 years old, it had served its life, not a bad innings though

You can't really complain then!!!

I had a mate who snapped an aluminium pole after about 18 months use, and it was one of the expensive wfp types not a cheap Unger.
