has anyone used this upvc paint  before, and is it any good, or can anyone recommend a better paint restorer,

Cant say ive ever heard of that before Jouk, but i,d imagine that being as Ronseal make it, it does exactly what it says on the tin

I have used a similar paint a few years back may of been Ronseal? Did two windows, Lounge and bedroom, very old upvc, about 20 years old, had gone yellow. Came up ok, but if i remember, only gave them one coat. Anyway, looked better after i had painted them.

It was introduced a year or two ago because the early plastic "never paint your windows again" went grey- their natural colour. So now B&Q suply the paint and the painters will get their jobs back - if they havent gone bust and packed in. If not painted regulary I suspect we have a time bomb, and see  "flakey paint on upvc" becoming a future board topic.

thanks, its  just i have suggested to some customers with badly faded window frames,
that i may be able to restore them, or at least look better, its just that am worried
i do the job, and the next time i wfp them it all washes of and i dont want that,
ronaldo thats why i was buying it

one of my competitors in boston does house washing as well as window cleaning and he recommends this for vinyl  siding (which i think is US speak for upvc)

I don't know Jouk but its possibly for sale there under a different name ,use a uk search engine to search for vinyl restorer instead of upvc and you might find it

very interesting products james, if this can help restore the colour without actualy painting with a brush, this is going to be a lot easier, i think?
