« on: January 21, 2007, 01:13:38 am »
Hi All, I currently use Unger rubbers and find them ok.
I have always used them (don,t know why).
What do you all find the best bearing in mind quality and cost.
Where to bulk buy
Thanks in advance

A few years ago when I first joined this forum there was endless talk about which was the best rubber to use and the discussion went on and on.

My own view is that there is not much to choose between them although everybody has a preference. Why not try a few different brands and see what you settle on.

All of the various suppliers carry a range and I dont think there is much difference in price between any of them. There are so many excellent suppliers these days I hesitate to recommend one over the others but try Wintecs www.wintecs.co.uk as a starting point. I only say go to them because they do free delivery which is good on small orders.

What I would like to know, is their any rubber that folks do not like at all and why?

You cannot plough a field by turning it over in your mind.

Have tried white squeegie rubber off e-bay, and get on with it well, hard rubber, but worth giving it a go

Ettore doesn't wear out that quickly I must say, it is fantastic rubber though! Next best thing quality wise is SYR in my opinion. :)
