Does anyone have a picture of there float valve on there tank as ive got no idea of what float valve to get and how they are fixed to the tank.

Clear Vision...I dont know to much how that works it must shut off your delivery pump from your static tank, what i need to know is what float valve do i need to stop the water from my 4040ro unit to my tank which is all in my van.

It might not interest you but I will explain to you how it works.

My static tank sits all on its own down the bottom of the garden
I have a whale 12v submersible pump in the tank with 40ft of hose coming from it with speaker wire running/taped to the outside of the hose for the power source.

Then in the van, that little black box you see behind the croc clips is a relay. My float valve is connected to it and so is the croc clips & a socket.

All I do Is put the hose in the tank in the van and then connect the croc clips to my battery in the van and plug in the end of the power supply (speaker wire) to the black socket on the relay.

Then it starts to fill up and shuts off automatically when full.

Couldn't be without it now!

What you have done there is very smart clearvision, only prob for you baz is that that doesn't work when filling from a 4040 into the tank,the prob with the 4040 is that is doesn't have any check valves so even if you block off the product is will continue to produce waste water - the best (but not cheapest) way round this is to fit a 12V solenoid on inlet and have it wired to a set of probes, or an eye (electro-visual sensor which can detect water within a set parameter of say 2cm) so when the water level reaches 2cm of the eye it switches the solenoid which stops the unlet line, therefore stopping water production - expect to pay £350 or so for this.
