« on: January 20, 2007, 07:49:49 pm »
I would like to source some self adhesive letters to stick/iron onto some of my work gear like my flouressent waistcoat, t-shirts, jumpers.

Does anyone know where I can get them from?

Cheers

Matthew

Them T-shirt printng kits should do it, WHsmiths should do them or dare i say Staples the office superstore deffo do.

Print desired design onto paper via normal home printer, iron on, easy, job done.

Andy
Oooooo that is shiny!!

I have to say that I have tried the printing on T'shirts and Polo's
It looks OK and I did have it done properly.
But
There is no comparison in having your name/logo embroidered on your work clothing.
In my humble opinion it is much much better - looks the biz-washes better -irons better and gives a much
better look than that of printing .
DIY is a big No No from me

my people charged me something like £25 to set it all up which is a one-off charge.
Then it is about £4-£5 per go plus price of the item.
I have T's Polo's and Jackets done with embroidery
Only thing I had printed were reflective jackets on the back-now that would tacky with embroidery!

What do you mean "plus price of the item"?

Do they sell the workwear to you?

Do you have contact details for them?

Say you want a polo shirt embroidered you give them your design which they set up price est.£25
you buy the shirt say £8 plus £4 for the embroidery total cost £12 per item plus the set up £25
which is a one-off.
Every time you re-order from then on it is price of item
i.e. T shirt £6
       polo  £8
      jacket £30
plus the £4 charge for embroidery
hope that makes sense  :)

Here is the one I use I just had my hi vis coat done, not 100% sure but I think it cost £7 for the set up (one off payment) and £5 for the printing of approx A4 size area.
I bought my coat (fleece) with embroidery £15.
worth a call, they do loads of work and social wear, male and female.

I tryed there web site the other day and it wasn't working but may well be now.
