you have probably had this question many times , but as I am relativly new to wfp I am unsure if there are different types of resin for a DI unit. any ideas on best company to buy from?
One more thing .Do you clean with wfp systems when it is gale force winds?

There are a few different types of ressin but I'm not the best one to answer.

Try cleantech! They are a good company to deal with or gardeners pole systems.

Don't usually clean in high winds.

Make sure it is mixed bed resin, dowex and RohmandHaas are hard to beat.

The best mix bed resin i've come across is the purolite resin u can get it for about 69+vat. I get mine from the window cleaning warehouse.

have to disagree with above post, purolite for me is the worst - dowex is the better & is available from streamsupplies.
NOTE- when i say better i mean it lasts longer, purolite still does the same job but in my case it doesn't last as long as dowex so its a more expensive option in the longrun. i dont wfp in high winds. ;)

THERE ARE MANY MANAFACTORS OF RESIN ,MAKE sure its a mixed bed resin then you can use it strait from the bag in your di vessel.
the other resins are canion anion resins which are kept in seperate vessels and are recharged by a mix of sodium and hydrocloric acid [ elga systems.] Ihave one of the later, not had it running properly yet , two mixed resin vessels, and an ro man ro system.
