No way!!!

I would venture off into something else! Carpet cleaning, mobile valeting or go and learn a trade. Brickie or joiner.

only been doing wfp a few weeks and love it, so my answer is yes I would return to trad.
But ask this same question in a few months and my answer would probably be no way. wfp is so easy and no up and down ladders all day.

Anyway if they ban wfp and ladders then we won't have many wc left will we?.

as much as i love WFP and dislike the thought of a fall off a ladder, i would stick at it, go back to a old canavs bag full of sand as my "footer", might even learn to pole with tools :) for the occasional window above silly porch's

I pole with tools at the moment, I'm not brilliant, but I do a good job.

How would the ban be enforced, would someone go around confiscating eqiupment. As a matter of public duty I would take all Tucker, Facelift, and Omni poles, along with a heavy fine, and a jail term for reoffenders. DIY and cheapo Unger, Pulex, and homemade fishing rods I would simply crush on the spot and let the perps walk.

Were WFP banned I'd dump all the work I need a ladder, I'd keep my shops and get a different job for my main income, so for me I'd maintain a reasonable income (and I'd get holiday pay on the main job! ;))

I'd never go back to working off a ladder again, it knackered my knees the first time around.

In moderator mode:
Don't subvert this into a debate on the possibility on WFP getting banned/ladders getting banned/WFP is better/trad is better and so on.

I'll delete any that veer into the old debate, this thread is not about that.

I managed to do it Traditionally for 14 years before WFP so no reason why I can't go back to Traditional again.

I'm not sure.  One of my knees felt like it was going to be a problem before I went WFP. Also my left shoulder sometimes played up (I'm left handed).  Both of these problem were intermittent so I don't know if they were going to get worse or not.  However, with WFP my left elbow started gettingpainful though that has seemed fine for a while now.
I would probably revert to ladders to see how things went but I honestly don't know how I could afford to live at the moment without W/Cing.  I suppose I could build rounds and sell them or maybe even build the business much bigger and employ people whilst doing the paperwork and go on the tools a lot less.

When is the wfp ban coming in?  Why is it happening is it becasue of the dangers of carrying big amounts of water unsecured or poles falling over and damaging properrty and maybe killing someone?

Saul, don't panic!
The question is hypothetical only...but it is interesting to read what each of us would do if it were banned tomorrow.....
