new transit

anyone got the new shape transit?, we have old shape (01 & 02) considering changing 01 transit for new one although current transit is big 350, 125psi we are looking at the 260 swb (still nearly a tonne weight ) any got one and how do you rate it. any probs many thanks, george

Hi
Latest transit is an upgrade on last year's model with front and cabin remodel.
The rear cargo area remains unchanged.
Engines are not new either so see no reason why they shouldn't be as good as the model it replaced.
Would suggest a 280 rather than the 260 as it has a better payload.

thanks guys, went for the 260 as payload is 991 and is enough to cover us, if needed we still have bigger van for higher payloads. bought a 56 plate, drives nice but you can tell the differance from big 125 psi.
